YURI LANE "FROM TEL AVIV TO RAMALLAH"

YURI LANE'S ONE MAN HIP-HOP SHOW "FROM TEL AVIV TO RAMALLAH" BOOKING NOW!

In a year of renewed violence and political turmoil, the Israeli/Palestinian conflict has once again become a source of anger and sadness around the world. For young Jewish American students, the problem strikes an even deeper chord and asks a much more frightening question:

What does Israel mean to America and why do we fight for its existence?

Art has always served as a source of understanding and explanation, and in order to discuss these questions with confidence, young American students must feel like they have a grasp on this difficult situation. It is for this reason I urge you to consider making international performing artist Yuri Lane's one man masterpiece, "From Tel Aviv To Ramallah", a part of your scheduled campus or community events in 2006 and 2007.

"From Tel Aviv To Ramallah" is about the Mideast conflict and the people it affects most. When two boys from opposite sides of the fence choose to pursue their dreams, a bomb goes off, and their lives are changed forever.

Yuri Lane performs this ground-breaking hip-hop theater piece at college campuses, community centers, and performing arts centers throughout the world -- for audiences of all ages and ethnicities. Yuri and his performance-partner, Sharif Ezzat, are available for single engagements and extended residencies to perform "From Tel Aviv To Ramallah" and engage audiences in a refreshing, non-ideological way.

Please take a moment and go to our website at www.offbroadwaybooking.com to look at pictures and video clips of "From Tel Aviv to Ramallah" and its creators. To read the most recent article about Yuri's latest performance in Tel Aviv by the Associated Press, please click here:

We invite you to consider bringing "From Tel Aviv to Ramallah" to your campus, Hillel, JCC, or Arts Center this coming season. Please feel free to forward this information to the appropriate person on your staff or board, or to an appropriate organization. Freestyle Love Supreme

"From underground theater and the improv scene comes a new kind of performance: FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME"

The movement is simple - get words from the audience, use them to inspire new rap songs, build a hip-hop community!

FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME came together in order to build a bigger and better hip-hop community and bring the art to a new generation.
Five versatile performers provide non-stop action throughout this whirlwind of music, comedy and freestyle rap. FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME uses audience suggestions to spontaneously combust into musical creations inspired by jazz, improvisational comedy and hip-hop. Since the audience is different every time, the show is never the same: you have to see it more than once to believe it!

Check them out at  freestylelovesupreme.com  Friend them on myspace.com at www.myspace.com/freestylelovesupreme  and see them perform LIVE tomorrow night, July 13th at 10:00 PM at Ars Nova NYC. All tickets are $15.00. General admission. The show is ONE HOUR and there is no intermission. The box office will open 30 minutes prior to showtime.

SHOUT! The Mod Musical
SHOUT! The Mod Musical

In previews now through July 26th!

SHOUT! flips through the years like a musical magazine. It tracks five young women as they come of age during the liberating days of the 1960's that made Englad swing! It is a non-stop journey through the infectious and soulful pop anthems and ballads that made household names of stars like Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield and Lulu. SHOUT! uses letters to an advice columnist, true confessions, quizzes and advertisements as a frame for hits like "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me," and "Son of a Preacher Man."

SHOUT! The Mod Musical is hitting New York City this summer at Off-Broadway's Julia Mills Theater starting July 11th!

Tickets are on sale now at telecharge.com. Order online or call 212-239-6200

The Julia Mills Theater
